We are searching for a talented Multifamily Operations Specialist to be based out of New York City.
*** Please note: heavy traveled may be required throughout the eastern coast.
Travel to properties within the assigned portfolio to provide operational and training support or to fill in where there is a vacant position in Management. The Operations Specialist works closely with the Vice President of Operations and Regional Directors to improve operational efficiencies. Works in a variety of support functions that may include marketing, operational consistencies, and personnel. Responsible for onboarding new associates in assigned region. Help support and ensure successful company initiatives and operational roll-outs.
Provide “troubleshooting” expertise, assisting when properties are understaffed; go to communities to evaluate performance issues and communicate them to the Regional Director or VP, Operations.
Assist Regional Directors with quality control as needed with on-site visits, including walk vacants, grounds, and amenities and provide suggestions/solutions for areas of improvement.
Assist Regional Directors to ensure Marketing and Training updates/expectations are met.
Assist Regional Directors with the quarterly inspections at the properties and help resolve the issues that are a result of the inspection.
Participate in pricing calls and evaluate regional expenses through monitoring and verifying monthly p-card reconciliations.
Work with Vice President, Operations on special projects and insuring timely roll-out and execution of new initiatives.
This position requires an Undergraduate Degree.
3-4 years of prior experience successfully operating in a Property Manager position with supervisory responsibility required.
Required skills for this position include: communication, customer service, analytical skills, and property management software.
This position requires up to 50% travel.
