The Power Tool Repair Center in Dallas is the Warranty and Repair Center for Ingersoll Rand Power Tools, Hoist and ancillary equipment. The Tool Repair Center is a fast-paced team environment, where it is a group effort to serve our customers. This position offers a wide variety of tasks that will challenge you daily.
Disassemble, diagnose and repair Power Tools, Pulse Tools, pneumatic tools and hoist/ other material handling equipment.
Carry out calibrations and preventative maintenance task
Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors, co-workers and management
Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of customers, co-workers and management
Work as a team with our Sales force to support customers
Ability to read prints, wiring schematics and diagrams
Serve as technical support for the service coordinators
Perform to the assigned metrics for the position
Submit daily accurate, detailed reports and complete tasks on time
Maintain company property, including tools and equipment.
Actively promote safety education and accident prevention in line with IR safety requirements
Utilize Microsoft Office and current programs to support our repair process
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stoop, kneel, bend, or crawl.
The job requires frequent lifting of up to 35 lbs. and occasional heavy lifting up to 65lbs.
High School Diploma Required.
Basic Computer Skills
5+ years of technical experience preferred
Must pass pre-employment and random drug screens
